Perfect Timing.

come to God with your requests based off of knowing who He already is, not off of what He has not done yet. ps. 143:1

So many times I look at what God hasn't done, instead of what He is doing in HIS timing. I'm so glad that inspite of my rushing things, God still has His hand on time.. and that He he lines things up in the way they are suppose to. It''s very easy to expect God to just "grant wishes", instead of using Faith and remembering that he will never forsake us, He knows when to show up and show off.. but He also knows the desires of our heart.. It amazes me that even though my issues are so small, they are big to God. Even when I don't feel like I deserve his listening ear, He gives it to me.. and He sees me inspite of my imperfections. So the challenge for today: Instead of focusing so much on yourself, focus and what you can help someone else with. When we start focusing on helping someone else, things start to line up in our own life. God is cool like that :) ..and we also learn that their are greater "problems" in life than ours.. God will start revealing His perfect plan for your life, but in HIS timing.. So don't rush God, just know that He has your life held in His hands..and He knows whats best for you. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday :)

Time Has Flown

So this wind is getting colder, and all I can hear is Christmas music! It's hard to believe that it's already this time of year again. This year has flown by, again, just like the past ones.. but it amazes me how much faster each year goes by. I am so blessed to have each member of my family sitting around the tree with me again this year.. It makes my heart so happy to know that I have such an amazing support system in my family, and that I have them all together for another year. This year has been rough, but we have stuck together.. and Im sure this Christmas is going to be the best one yet.

Today was the first day of practice for the Childrens Play. The kids all looked so cute doing hand motions to the Christmas songs! My niece and nephews are so grown up, and they bless me just getting to watch them worship so freely. I am excited to see how the play turns out this year! Praying that it all turns out well, and no one crys on stage this year :)
